i checked my bank acct yesterday, they deducted $61.52 from my acct. yay my crying out love in the center of the world dvd is coming really soon. US35.99 adds up to SGD61.52.. some high exchange rate, who cares la, as long as i get my hands on that very very touching dvd.

i am not alone in thinking that the movie's fantastic. newpaper had a review on it today. 4 out of 5 stars. dunno wat they thinking, they sld give 5 out of 5. a lot of blogs are also reviewing it to be a 5 star movie, just go check ard google. so i guess singaporeans are just heartless ppl who doesn't appreciate such love stories. farrell told me it's something lyk a walk to rmbr, the hollywood one that had mandy moore and her melodramtic love song - cry. yar i still rmbr listening to it when i was pri 6. basket hollywood, trying to kope love stories from japan...

teachers day celebrations tmr. time really really flies.the sch admin is really wonderful in coming out wif lame ideas. now besides the celebrations, they came out wif this pamper your teacher thing. every class must set up stations for teacher to go to. for fuck? lyk thr teachers will come and be pampered. and wat are we suppose to do? massage for them huh. wah lau wan to think oso think of more constructive ideas mah. den still got dedications of songs to teachers. today tuition whole time was tinking bout the whole movie while listening to the theme song that dennis send me.. the theme song oso super melancholic. i tot utada hikaru was nice, but this one even nicer.. maybe not la, it's only because this song evokes memories of the movie.. super touching.. so was in changi airport having tuition while listening to that song, then i stared into the vast blue sky, and the alst scene of the movie jsut kept coming back to me leh.. for the whole time during tuition, kept thinking and thinking.. i really cannot forget bout it sia.

realised trying to search more relevant info bout the movie's hopeless. if the movie ain't on hollywood, it wouldn't be on google or on msn. crap la. such a wonderful movie yet no where to be found on the internet. it's only super big in japan and korea.

tried buying the orginal disc on the net. but it's super hopeless. can't find any trusted sites to get the movie frm.. but in the end found this site that sold it and it looked trusted. realised the jap version was too expensive at US61.99, so i settled for the korean version, which looked muc muc muc better than the cheap taiwan versions.. it costed a bomb too, US35.99.. which is something lyk SGD60. i seriously hope it will come and the transaction can be done clean. god bless. god bless. dun later half way something happen to my bank acct or my dvd, den super sway la. anyway here's the whole package.. looks impressive hor?

i cried after watching it

no wonder it was a jap box office hit

it's about this tragic childhood love romance.. the couple would exchanged their love through cassette tapes as handphones weren't invented at that time. but this gril had leukemia and she died..their rommance didn't last long.. but sadly the last recording of the tape, whom she asked another girl to pass to the boy, didn't reach him as the messenger was knocked down by a car while she was crossing the road. so 30 to 40 yrs later they all grow up, and the messenger becomes the boy's girlfriend, and she discovered the lost tape in the midsts of her old clothings, and that's when both of them started retracing the wonderful but tragic romance. u watch alredy will get super sad. in the end 40 yrs later the guy fufiled the girl's last wish which was recorded on her last tape, which is to scatter her ashes at some australian landmark place where she called the "center of the world", a place she nv made it wif that guy, and asked that guy to move on with his life after that and forget about her..

Girls in Victoria School?

Spores last all-boys govt school wants to go co-ed. Some old boy upset.

It is the countrys last all-boys government school. But Victoria School (VS) has decided to take a knife to tradition – it wants to go co-ed.

The school has submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Education in what looks like a move to play catch-up with some of Singapores top schools.

It hopes that turning co-ed can make it the main feeder school for Victoria Junior College (VJC) with the possibility of merging into one Integrated Programme (IP) in the long run.

That would make it similar to the Raffles and Hwa Chong families, where the boys and girls schools are linked to their respective JCs. Their students study a six-year course bypassing the O levels.

MOE confirmed receiving the proposal and said it had asked the school to submit a detailed proposal of its overall long-term plan for evaluation.

If it gets the nod, VS will leave behind a 129-year-old tradition of being an all-boys school.

The school did have girls in pre-university classes from the 1950s until as late as the 80s.

Right now, it is the only government all-boys school left in Singapore.

Principals Email

VS Principal Ang Pow Chew,46, is away on a school trip to china and could not be contacted.

But in an earlier e-mail to his staff, he said the school is suffering a brain drain following recent changes to the education landscape.

In 2004, 38 students, about 10 per cent of that cohort, left VS to join the IP offered by Junior Colleges and some of the independent schools. The school predicts that the number leaving the school could go up to 100 or about a third of the cohort.

Said M rang in the e-mail: “VS will experience a deep hollowing out effect. In anticipation of the challenges and opportunities generated, VS and Victoria JC see merits in both institutions working closely together to offer linked programmes.”

VJC is already offering its own IP programme for students from Sec 3 onwards.

The plan is for VS to be the main feeder school for VJC. To do so at least 50 percent of each Sec 3 cohort must meet the JCs cut-off mark. That may not be possible if it remain an all-boys school.

Said Mr Ang: “As it is unlikely that this target can be reached with VS remaining a boys school, we believe that turning co-ed will raise the quality of the intake.”

Eventually, both schools hope to run an Integrated Programme just as the Raffles and Hwa Chong families are doing now.

Many old Victorians were unhappy

Old boy Chan Joo Peng, 27, said: “I dont think the aim is to bring bout an IP programming at all. It is just to help VS climb the rankings ladder.

“While I am all for better performance, I am not for it to be at the expense of some strong traditions. I would rather see an all-boys VS moving up the ladder on its own steam.”

Old Victorians Association president Aaron Tan said they would respond after a meeting on the issue.

Should JC anthem change?

SHE wants the school song changed.

At a school assembly earlier this year, principal of Victoria JC Chan Khah Gek suggested that a line in the song “Victoria, thy sons are we” wasnt sensitive to female Victorians and should be replaced.

Some current students and alumni however, were not enthusiastic about the suggestion.

“The anthem is part of a tradition – and I don’t think we need to take the word sons a face value, “said one second-year female VJC student.

But some feel that a change makes sense if both VJC and VS are co-ed.

When contacted, Mrs Chan said “more structured feedback” is needed to find out if only a minority of students feel that the school song should be changed.

finally got the time to come online. time really flies. 3 more weeks now. super scary.

last week have been quite an eventful one.

dim sum dollies. as usual that aaron pang seh me once again. wat say got prelims cannot go.. not lyk that 1 sat nite he can mug alot lyk that. so i went alone. yes ALONE. sorang. met ms koh and others for dinner. realised those "others" were a bunch of stone stone serious serious ppl. terrance, david, syen, cheng xing. wahhh can die sia. no one to talk joke wif, no one to talk cock, WTF LA AARON PANG SEH ME. that zhao yao oso. all basket basket. cannot tahan sia. the feeling worse than dying. so i decieded to alienate myself by listening to blink 182 and just literally shutting up and walking at the back of the grp. yay.

things only got better when we finally sat down for dinner. started talking to cheng xing, lol, wat to talk sia, i dun even noe him. trying to talk something out of nothin when u dunno that person and u are talking to him for the first time in your entire life and u are stuck with him in a long long long super long quene in burger king that doesn't seem to move and u just have to talk something out of nothin because if u shut up that other person will oso shut up and we have two lonely bastards trying to get to know each other but refusing to talk something out of nothin. AARON ALL YOUR FAULT LA. lucky jing kai came. so things lightened up abit, and that was where all the fun began..

the play itself was hilarous, though the jokes were quite lame and recycled. sitting beside ms koh and narothman was the best position la. on one hand i have narothman and jared can talk cock wif, on the other i have ms koh hu was real fun oso, so yeah really enjoyed myself. esplanade was grand though small, i tot that stupid glass durian could fit bigger concert theatres. but i tink there's other main hall, one's for plays, the other's for musical performances. after interlude ms koh won some lucky draw thingy to get a new honda jazz so she went down to sit and the whole orientation was gone. ended up sitting beside mason darling and some stranger. but mason is anotehr siao guy, so still can lah. the moment ms koh went up on stage for the lucky draw thingy she intro-ed herself with "i came with 17 ppl." it sounded perfectly normal and fine and first. but if u thing dirty, which the presenter kinda guided us to and brought the whole audience laughing, it would say "i expireneced my sexual high/had my orgasm/cum wif 17 ppl", which is sick la. but i dun tink ms koh got it la.. so yeah everything was fine. i dun tink the others got it too, though they keep chanting "i came wif 17 ppl." this type of thing u need expirence de.. lol wat am i saying i am a puritan.

haven't really had time to even on my com.

well i did, today.

got an email frm wil beng bout the service award plagues. lol. kinda stunned. didn't know ppl have been taking my entries so seriously. my blog is the only thing i can waste some time on while relaxing since i have deleted dota.

at the time i am typing this, have finished half the revision of chem and i understand trigo and relative velocity for a math. yes this is my 3rd time revising chem. have done it 2 previous complete times.

it's kinda scary really, come to think of it. so don't think about it and just live by the day.

today's a freaking unlucky day.
start of the day. forgot to ask faris to buy rojak for me. so i sms him in lit class. and i was sititing in front. so it to he will buy for me. so after lit class i took my time as usual. asking ms leow bout my bio when she doesn;t even teach me that subject. i tink she finally figured out that i wasn't in her class. helped ms koh to carry her stuff after that on condition that i get a free lift ride. went down to canteen and found out that faris nv buy for me. basket. so i bought some laska that tasted lyk plain water. and i had my pink lemonade drink sampled by that bloody mason and yuan dern until they reduced the full cup to just ice. JUZ ICE JUZ ICE. lol. so i had nothin to drink, and the food was shit.

had stomach cramps during chem lesson. dunno why. must be the stupid laska. i kept missing my titration results during the lesson. bad luck. after chem lesson rayn pak gee fook pushed me. so sway. so happen. some fucker. walk pass me. i slam into him. 1 month old okaleys kana bend. until now, the orginal shap can't be bend back. the staff from paris miki warned me bout the frame breaking if she bend it back to shape as it was hit at "high impact". felt lyk laughing as i lied to her that i was hited by a ball. so now my 1 month old oakleys is fucked up. gonna wait for the rubber and paint to tear before i go exploit the warrenty for a new pair again.

after chem prac i was blind. as in really blind. my degree is 1000. without my specs i am literally blind. went to take the lift with louis and leon as we were carrying chem rpac book.s ching boon was in the lift. started lecturing us bout taking the lift only carrying so little stuff and not wanting to see us take again. she couldn't do anything since we kindly pointed out the fact that ms sim ALLOWED us to take the lift. i hate hypocrites. below the age of 40 still dare take the lift. of course rules that the sch set for teachers are fexible. what bullshit aobut only teachers above 4o taking the lift. bullshit. the sch admin is crap. bunch of liers. wad's the big deal bout the lift. u build it with my father's taxes.. and the best thing is we have chia punishing those who take the lift as if it's some terrible sin. that's victoria sch administration. dun worry it's gonna change next yr when a certain member of the admin leaves the sch. let's pray hard it will change for the better. instead of going ard sticking yellow "please turn of the lights after use" stickers in every toliet, maybe they could think of ways of how teachers can maximise time during lessons. we have WLM coming into class and asking everyone to arrange their tables in single files and setting ridiculous rules that no one is suppose to refil water bottle during her lessons.
